Spoke too soon

Ugh, I spoke too soon this morning. I feel like crap now. But I’d like to record the progression in case it’s useful for me or others.

3rd COVID shot taken on Friday, around 17.00. BioNTech mRNA taken. (First 2 shots were SinoVac in February and March)

Nurse guaranteed “you’ll be ok today, jab site pain should only set in tomorrow”.

That was not true for me.

Same day
19:00 slight reaction, got itchy all over, no hives though. Might be psychological only.

20:30 jab site pain starts to set in

23:30 goes to sleep, can’t sleep on left side (jab site), had to sleep on back or right side

Next day
7:00 woke up with a lot of pain on left arm. Pain was like muscle pain from doing 1000 one-arm push ups the day before. Maybe an exaggeration, but seriously, the pain was just like an over-exercise muscle pain only

9:30 felt well enough to go to Starbucks. Hot chocolate only as was told to avoid caffeine. Still pain on left arm

13:00 lunch, nothing special, pain on left arm

15:00 rest at home, start feel sleepy

16:00 - 18:30 napped

19:00 started to feel really sick, woozy and disoriented during dog walk. Headache sets in. Left arm still hurts.

20:00 temperature check, low grade fever 37.4°C

20:30 after-dinner temperature check, 37.1°C. Weird as should be warmer after dinner.

22:00 showered and going to skip all night routines (writing, gaming, etc). Will just sleep after posting this. Took Panadol (painkiller + fever reducing). Hope to feel better in the morning.

Stupid cat sitting on my thighs so I can’t move. Might as well just sleep on my back.

Wow. Everybody's a bit different. Pfizer #1 and #2 didn't affect me much. Felt like crap for two days after a combo of Pfizer #3 and a conventional flu shot, tho
