Hello from Tokyo

Trip from Macau to Hong Kong was a hassle… the Bridge Bus service wasn’t anything to tell home about. There wasn’t enough scheduled direct-to-Hong Kong-Airport shuttle service from Macau, so we took the regular bus, then in Hong Kong the Airport circular route and got there way too early. Checked in, long-ass immigration line in Tokyo Haneda, pretty spiffy airport, that one.

It was a red eye flight and once we got to the city proper it was some 8am. Walked around to orientate ourselves. Found out I actually know the area where we are staying this time.

Don’t know if I will remember everything, but I also don’t have the time to record them all now (we’re going out soon), but yesterday I got 3 omikuji fortunes that went from “Bad fortune”, to “Ok fortune”, to “Good fortune.” The spooky thing was, they all mentioned similar things. The first bad fortune was pretty funny. The first line was “3 women cannot hangout together” LOL. Usually for these trips there are 3 of us, and this time there’s only 2 of us. But the Bad fortune omikuji wasn’t really a bad fortune, it was all more of a so-so thing. It mentioned about being seriously sick, but that will recover from it.

The second “ok fortune” was about returning home safely. I also bought an amulet at the second shrine/temple that was to protect against serious illness (due to the first bad fortune result). The third “good fortune” mentioned about being seriously sick but that will recover as well. The picture on that fortune was the same tree on the amulet that I bought at the second shrine/temple. I know and I’m rational these are just paper words but anyway, it does feel good.

Then met with a friend from my friend’s. Had dinner. Late night. I fell asleep half way through dinner and so they decided to disperse (finally).

This ended up being posted at the end of the second day LOL. I can’t keep up, oops!
