Good start with my fingers crossed
Monday, 10 August 2015 23:29So Monday has come and will be gone soon. So far so good on a Monday. Boss seems to have scaled back his petty fits. Oh, but then there's still Tuesday through Friday.
Being as those are going to sound like a nightmare, I'm going to skip all that.
I'm going to Hong Kong on Saturday!
It really shouldn't excite me so, but it's something to do apart from hanging around in Macau. My friend P wants to try out a fine dining restaurant called Bibo. We heard about it in some Hong Kong celebrity guys' radio talk show (or whatever... for the record, if anyone's interested, it's Wanhoi. I liked his old radio show as he talked about controversies between religions, culture, UFOs, aliens, science & research, and a myriad other mysterious things. Then he started his own internet radio show and while his talks are still interesting, but, given free reign, I find that he digresses too much and goes off tangent - which is cool, and I'm not criticising, I just don't have the luxury of listening to a 3-hour radio show)
So restaurant reservations are in place. It's a go. I'm not sure what else we are going to do. She mentioned picking up some Bunny memento from agnes b., but other than that, I'm not sure. I think she said she has to go to the WTC branch, which is near the Times Square Hong Kong, so I guess... I can wander in there and take maybe a look or two at the Gundam installations now. Again, not particularly a fan, but hey, it's something different from the day-to-day norms.
Now if I can just recall where the hell a particular stationary store another Hong Kong radio talk show celebrity spoke of, then I can go see that too. Alas, I do not recall anything about said shop, except that it's interesting. And somehow the young owner has an authentic WWII gas mask on display, as he is a history buff. Oh and that the owner is actually a university student majoring in Chinese medicine. Huh. Kid's got passion and strive.
Thanks for hearing me out. It's quite late now, and I can feel my eyes drooping. I guess I should call it a day.
Oh yeah... with the parents back, the dogs are back to their old, bad, habits.
