1. Do you live a house, a condo, or some kind of apartment?
I live in an apartment.

2. Do you rent or own?
Neither. My mom owns the apartment and she refuses to receive payment (be it rent or meals or just expenses). She's happy when I treat the family for dinner out once in a while.

3. What’s one thing that you would change about it if you could?
Well, living with family is great and all, but I'd also like to have the privacy and independence of living alone? It's kind of a moot point since it's virtually impossible for a single person to buy an apartment nowadays here (that together with mom vetoing out ALL and ANY target apartments I bring up... I'm doomed to live with mom for the rest of my life or hers....

5. Do you read the answers of others before answering yourself?
When a question is difficult to understand, and/or answer, then I go take a look. I usually don't comment on non-friends journal unless very much compelled to do so.

What I've been up to

Still haven't had time to actually sort through my photos, BUT!
I've been getting things done...

So I've been eating. With my tricky stomach in the last weekend, I haven't really recovered. I seemed to not have any more stomach troubles but I kept on feeling like I had a heartburn or something. I think I'm through the worst of it now, so I should be good to go for my trip next weekend.

I went to place a deposit for a replacement lens but I doubt it'd come in time for me to use that camera for Japan. So I'll have to use my old camera now. I need to hunt for the spare battery.

I brought my Hogwarts notebook to work and once my current book for taking minutes is used up, this Hogwarts one goes live. I believe I've been sprinkling fandom stuff across my workplace a little more and more recently. So there's the Sailor Jupiter pen and now a Hogwarts notebook. It's fun.

And oooohhhh I just spent last night and this afternoon marathoning (not really) the third season of Sherlock. I don't know. I didn't like season 3 at all. Maybe the surprise factor is gone? Like in season 1 it was the smartass and the new idea that caught everyone, then season 2 it was all the bromance (and heaven forbid the slash overtones) but I thought they were trying too hard in season 3 for the smartassery. The Abominable Bride was good (and I made the mistake of watching The Abominable Bride first, then season 3) and had the right balance, I suppose... but having watched those 2 in flipped order, season 3 was quite bland.

Everyone (or the girls) are all fawning over Benedict Cumberbatch but personally, I like Martin Freeman better. Or maybe it's the character? Doesn't feel like Sherlock takes much acting - just keep a bland face for everything. John Watson? So many facets to him. So I dunno if it's the character or the actor, or if I'm the one who is being shallow. Which reminds me... LOL

I had plans to go to Hong Kong today for the pet merchandise fair today, but I had too much lagged-over work at work, so decided to go in today (inconsolable, on a Saturday!). Worked out beautifully. My desk is clean again for once. Let's see how long it keeps. I give it till Monday afternoon, as the boss will give me an avalanche of work, definitely. Anyway, I also have plans to go to Hong Kong in March, on Good Friday as it's a friend's birthday, and we will go to some posh restaurant because she really wants to try that. So one missed trip to Hong Kong is no big deal.

At my Portuguese class, we now have to write a resume/CV in Portuguese, in the Europass format. I feel cheated. Most of my classmates are fresh grads, so they don't have to write much. I have 15 working years under my belt... there's going to be so much to write about... or I can just pretend I'm a fresh grad... maybe I'll do that.

Don't know why I suddenly feel like having popcorn.
