Friday, 14 June 2019 23:591. What was your favorite childhood vacation?
Honestly, I don’t remember. I know from photos I went on a grand European tour but don’t have much recollection of it. I remember being sick in Paris and having to stay in the bus when everyone went out taking photos of the Eiffel Tower. I remember contracting a really bad cough in London because the air was too dry for me. I remember getting ice creams in gas stops and the tour guide commenting that I’ll get fat. I remember my vacations going home to Portugal and/or Austria were boring as F.
So no, I guess childhood vacation, I didn’t have aa favourite. But I do remember my first “adult” (as in, all planned by myself and not in a tour group and such) was to the Czech Republic. It was an amazing trip!
2. What is your dream vacation?
No use having dream vacations as you would just compare your trip with your dream vacation and it will never amount to that! Enjoy your trip as it is!
3. If you could take a trip around the world, what locations would you be sure to include?
Mainly places I haven’t been to yet; Northern Europe, Russia, many Asian countries, Australia, Canada, USA, South America, Africa....
4. Do you prefer vacations to new destinations, to familiar destinations, or a mix?
Definitely mix. I usually like to explore a new country with my friends, and then travel alone to repeat destinations.
5. What activities would you plan for a two week staycation?
If it’s a staycation does it mean I have to stay put in one place (as in city/lodging/base)? I’d make a lot of day trips to surrounding areas, explore supermarkets and markets, if the area has a flea market then that too. I’d leave some time for reading (ha! I know, boring!)
Mom seems to have confirmed the renovation plans so no more traveling for the next few months or so.
