Second Double Friday Five!

1. Do you like to barbecue or grill or does that duty fall to someone else?
Barbecue isn't really a common thing over here... we do have some BBQ parties but it always involves going out the the so-called "countryside" so to go for a real barbeque (those that what the questions are asking about) is a big event and process.
The more common type of "barbeque" we do here are the Korean restaurant barbeques where you sit in a restaurant and have that hot plate thing at your table and to barbeque at your table.
2. What is your favorite thing to throw on the grill?
The saying is beef is the best thing to barbeque
3. Do you have a new/newer grill or an old standby?
Although I've written in #1 that it's not a common thing, we do happen to have a considerably sized verandah/balcony so we can do a barbeque at home if we want to. We have an old grill. I think I've only seen it being used once.
4. Have you ever owned a hibachi?
First off, I didn't know what a hibachi is, so I looked it up.
My reply after looking it up: that's the home barbeque grill we have.
5. Any good barbecue stories?
Not a thing here. Not enough stories.

1. What is your favorite thing to drink on a hot day?
Ice cold water. Once in a while I have a sudden craving for coke, but by the time I take my first sip I'll have deep regrets because... I actually hate coke. I feel like my teeth are melting!
2. What superstitions do you have?
I don't eat ginkgo nuts because in Chinese they are called "白果" which means white fruit.... so another extrapolated meaning is fruitless..... and further extrapolate it, it means failure (fruitless = no result = failure)
3. What is your favorite pen to write with and why?
I need to search for the model name and all that but currently the pen I like to use most is the one I got from my Hobonichi order... ok after searching I think it's the Uni Jetstream. It really writes so smoothly!
4. What books have you read or been reading during the Pandemic?
Still stuck on that one book about dogs... it was so promising at first but it's now proving to be a drag.
5. MTV has decided to resurect playing music videos and they've decided to give you a two-hour space to program your favorite music on air. What do you air?
Not my thing. I know MTV exists, and my concept of MTV is basically "the channel that shows music videos"... it's only later in life with internet that i learned that there's a lot of things going on on the MTV channel. But...........
