Life updates!
Friday, 29 May 2020 18:28Okay... again, sorry for going MIA for 2 weeks. Life has been...... hectic.... so now just a quick run through! I'm going backwards though.
So it's Friday and my long-weekend (my Friday offs are still going on)... I got so fed up of my hair so I went for a trim and also a dye, now I look young again LOL. And went to get my nails done!
While I was out today, I saw the shop for a special kind of egg-and-flour cookie was opened. It isn't even really a shop. It's just a pushcart with a stove thing. I forgot to shoot a photo of the actual cookies... I think I can best describe the taste and texture as.... it tastes like a pancake and the texture is of a plain cookie. But it's yum!I'll add the cookies photo later. Photo added!
Over the week(s) it's been take out order and take out order. I try to order salad and healthy stuff! And yes, I've been having repeats too! The soba noodles this place serves are pretty good too!
So... on Sunday, I went out with my Sis. First the background: I have this L-shape corner window in my room. I've always wanted to buy this floating moon lamp from the China shopping place Taobao. But it's a bit expensive for an item bought in China, and it's electronics (it's a lamp, come on), so I had been pushing it off for a while.
And so, during this outing with my Sis, I saw this succulent terranium of sorts, and I was instantly drawn to it. I bought it without pretty much thinking it through, but I'm lucky coz the size was just right and it fit the L-shape corner of my window sill. Let me just hope that I won't kill it with my black thumb! Also, hopefully this will subconciously convince me, I don't need the floating moon now.
No photo to go with it.... but the big big big big boss has passed away, RIP. The whole Macau is slightly subdued. But life will go on. The guy practically owned Macau, so anyone can call him big big boss.
I've been having a lot of cake lately too... countering the healthy lunches I have. My friend's sister (who has that pastry shop) made a prototype cake and asked up to try it. Dad also made a cake and we had to finish that in a rather short amount of time. As much as I love sweets, I've had had quite enough of cake for now. I prefer Dad's cake haha. Sorry, friend!
As you can imagine, I've been busy with the Animal Crossing game as well. It's really a kind of escape. And yes, apparently my sis has some issues with spelling. She made a joke about herself on that.
And before I go, of course, a doggie photo! My Sai Lup! And the one with my Dad is actually an old photo from a couple years back.... he was helping me to wash one of the dogs and the cat comes and sists on him LOL
Okay... that was a fun updating. I'll try to remember to actually update sooner!
