1) What are you doing this spring that you weren't doing 1 year ago?
Erm... I got really lazy last year around this time and sort of stopped or lazed from my running... this year I'm slowly building up my momentum again. I'm also adding some workout exercises so it doesn't get too boring for me. And I'm doing a different facial mask every day and a sugar scrub every few days. I feel my skin is way better already.
2) What pandemic precautions are you still taking?
Face masks and a pair of glasses. It'd be weird to wear those industrial glasses, but I still put on my glasses. I don't really need glasses as I'm neither short- nor far-sighted, but I have astigmatism and it's the worst at night when there are bright lights. But anyway, the glasses make me feel a little more protected.
3) What's a safety rule that's very important to you?
Always be aware of your surroundings and check in with people. I didn't know it at that time, but when I was a kid, before the times of mobile phones, whenever I went out to meet friends, and it was time to go home and it was night, I always told them to "give me a ring at my home when you get home, so I know that you got home." And sometimes we did go out till like 11pm or midnight and I'd remind them to ring my place no matter what. My Mom would be mad at me, as she always says if there's no emergency, you don't call people after 9pm at night (and before 8am in the morning). I also hate getting drunk because then I wouldn't be aware of my surroundings. I once got so drunk (it was just once in my whole life EVER and I hated it so I've vowed to never get sloshed) I couldn't walk straight and I was almost blacking out but I was totally alert. It was a different kind of high alert than when sober. Like, when sober, you don't need effort to stay aware, but when drunk, you are woozy, but my mind was trying to stay alert, so I had like those crazy determined eyes, brows furrowed and staring at stuff for more time than usual because I was trying to take it in and understand what was going on.
My friends were impressed because I was even more tight-lipped than ever (I'm a quiet drunk apparently, I shut down and don't talk to anyone) but whenever I spoke it was obvious I was drunk because I slurred. I cringe as I think back on it.
4) What plants are blooming where you live?
I don't know what they are called. The yellow flowers that look like trumpets (in Chinese they are called trumpet flowers LOL) and the red ones that look similar to those trumpet flowers but the petals are different.
5) What was your most memorable summer job?
I was never allowed a summer job, I guess my Mom had the mentality that "I'm able to support you guys so you don't need any summer job!" But later in Uni I had to do 2 internships over 2 summers, so I suppose that's considered my summer job then. I enjoyed my time in Portugal working in a travel agency. The lady taught me a lot and she took me out to tea a lot.

1. When did you most recently find money?
I was looking for a particular bag because I wanted it to match with my outfit for the day and voila, there was hidden money in it!
2. When have you lost something and got it back because someone submitted it to a lost-and-found?
I once lost my uniform jacket and then the next day got a call from the school registry. The uniforms were tagged with our student numbers so that was an easy find.
3. What did you discover about yourself at your favorite place of employment?
Ah... that i can learn to let things go..... LOL
4. What was the last thing you peeled?
A banana, a couple days ago.
5. What was the last gift you unwrapped?
I have no idea, it must be something I got on my birthday? Or did I get a random gift some time? I could have, but I don't remember.
