uh-oh, nail trouble?

ugh... I guess I previously let me nails grow out a bit too long. Just now when I was moving some boxes, I felt a slight pain and I examined my fingers for a bit. So my nails are splitting way too in! i have about 3 or 4 nails that are like that!

I'll probably have to make a trip to China on Sunday and get myself a manicure, and sadly, as much as I hate gel nails, I guess I'll have to do that again. In turn, it might be a good idea as I have 2 more weddings to attend, and so I might as well get my nails to look pretty for the occasion.

Talking about the weddings, tomorrow I'm going to the tailor for the final fitting of my maid of honor dress. I am not looking forward to it as I think I managed to gain some weight in 2 weeks (what!?). I have loaned a girdle but I still have to go around looking for nu-bras or nude-bras or whatever they're supposed to be called.

I've also managed to get sick. I now have a cough I can't shake off. It's annoying. At least I got my running nose under control.

And I have to get my ATM card changed. I just renewed it on Monday, as the bank said they're upgrading and asked me to update my ATM card that works as a Debit card as well... but... 3 days in, and I didn't even get any cash yet, and... it's not working. They talked about charging me a re-issuing fee, but HEY! It's not MY fault that your card is so faulty! My credit cards, which are kept together, are still functioning!

I will probably have them re-check my credit cards as well.

That is why I can't grow my nails out- they always spilt and it ends up hurting like hell. I've never tried gel nails- do they help keep your nails from splitting more?

I don't really know, but I hope it helps. I intend to ask the manicure staff and see what they advice be done.
