I am a woman after all

But I like to think that I am a rational woman. I do like shopping, but I like to think that, I go over a long thinking process before making some pricey purchases.
The other day I was browsing around on Amazon.com and saw a really lovely Kindle 3 cover. I wanted to buy it upon seeing it, but then, thinking that I've already got the Amazon Kindle Cover that I shouldn't spend any more money on getting something I've already got. But it really was so pretty! But of course I persevered, yay.
The Tuff-Luv Eco-Nique Case for the Kindle 3. Made of eco-friendly hemp material and blah blah blah.
Today I received my credit card statement. I spent hardly a penny for the whole of last month! w00t! What an accomplishment! I was so happy I wanted to reward myself by buying this cover so I went to Amazon.com but right before I hit the buy button, it already said that they couldn't ship it to Macau. Figures. So I thought "whatever" and began looking around and reading other customer reviews. It had quite good reviews, and one of the reviews that caught my attention mentioned about it being very convenient when travelling as you could put your passport, boarding pass, and a bit of cash/credit card in it... I remember the last few times I went on holiday with my Kindle it was a big hassle holding on to stuff these stuff and then also the Kindle... you know... you can drop or lose stuff easily. I immediately thought... this IS for me!
So I headed to the maker's website, and saw that they do international shipping. It came out a bit expensive, I admit, but well, I still consider this my Successful-May-Abstinence reward. So yay.
It was raining today so I spent the day cooped up in my room reading. I'm still reading Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood. It's not that it's not interesting... but... for some reason, I'm reading really slowly. Maybe there's a lot of text stuffed into a page or something... it's taking longer than I expected to read this book.
Gotta go. Read on, kat, read on!
