I have no more mood for NaNoWriMo this year.

At first, I'll admit, it was my poor planning. Things kept happening and kept me from writing. But until the last 2 days, I haven't fell so defeated.

Bido has difficulty in peeing again. Seems to me it's exactly 10 days from his operation.

The Vet wants to cut him up to wash his bladder again. As much as I agree to the washing his bladder and removing any stones, I do not wish to cut the poor dog up again!

I mean, when you did it the first time, weren't you supposed to have cleaned it properly already!?

I don't know what to do. I'd like to go to another vet and ask for a second opinion, but I dunno how these vets and their child-like tantrums are these days.

I remember having one vet say something along the lines of: "oh, the other vet fucked up so now you want me to fix it for you?"

Give me a break. I came for a second opinion. Will another operation affect him? Can he sustain another operation? Why do these bladder stones keep coming!?

I feel sorry for the poor dog! TAT

thanks... he seems to be OK now again (he pee-ed last night) so there was no major hospital emergency, but I don't know if I could take every night holding my breathe waiting for him to just pee. (man, is that what my life is all about, wait for a dog to pee? j/k)

I have Nano still hanging... but by now, after missing a week's worth of writing, it all looks so daunting that... I think this year i'll retreat >.

Last time, when my puppy was very ill, somebody advised me to consult another vet and then I was told what’d happened to the puppy. I do suggest you consulting another vet though s/he will have unpleasant response to you.

Try the vet “Pet Hospital” it opens from 9am – 10pm (no holiday the whole year)

Or there is one near your home (Nam Van) but heard that the price is expensive.

I don't know. I'll probably take him one more time to the same vet, but before the operation, I will take him to another vet for a second opinion. I don't like the Animal Hospital as they caused a lot of pain to my other dog and then wasn't even able to put the dog to sleep properly... that was a very difficult experience... and we don't like them now...
I'll think about the other vets though.

Poor dog :( I definitely would want a second opinion if I were you but it's sad that the vets there aren't more understanding.
