More food

I don't get it, I just don't get it.

People seem to love to give me food lately.

After yesterday's amazing Eel Pie, today I received a box of amazing Charcoal Pineapple Cake.

Pineapple cake is your stereotypical Taiwanese souvenir food.

And just when I came home, my mom announces that the neighbor went on holiday and got us some sort of cuisine nouvelle pineapple cake; instead, it's cherry cake!

No comment. I just think it's too much food!

Charcoal Pineapple Cake? Is there charcoal in it?

I don't think there's any charcoal inside. It tastes almost the same as any other regular Taiwan Pineapple Cake... I guess they just used some other ingredients to make it black, and so called it the Charcoal Pineapple cake as a gimmick.
