Some fun stuff
Monday, 11 February 2013 11:47Because I had nothing constructive to do... haha!
Used an app and took some panoramic photos of my bedroom. I was probably tired last night, and just viewing the photos on the iPhone I didn't notice certain things, but now my computer, I can see the stitching job wasn't perfect. Anyway!
A general idea of my room:
View from where I sit up in bed and read. You can on my left is my clip-on reading lamp (thank you, IKEA for this wonderful item). That's also where the landline telephone base station is. The white cupboards on the left are in need of being replaced, but it's all glued or fixed against the wall, so it's not such an easy job of just "measuring the space, removing the old cupboard, and putting in the new cupboard". Straight on is the TV, there is a PS2 behind the TV. On the right is a really old The Dog puzzle in dire need of replacing or repainting. But it'll stay as it took me almost forever to put it together. And on the right is my bookshelf, which I think you've seen before already?
Standing at the door (entrance to my room), the first thing you see on the left is my "make-up station". That's also where all my accessories, earrings stand. You'll see I've added a curtain on one side of my bookshelf. I was thinking this could keep the dust off, but, after a few months with it on, I think I'll just remove it because... I like to see my books! Nothing much to say after that... the desk, the cupboard, the TV on the right...
And another view from where the dog bed is. Around 2 nights a week, I'll take that bike out and ride for some 15 minutes. I need to build up my endurance and stamina; for now, my target is to be able to ride 30 minutes in one sitting. The bed used to be a triple bunker bed. There was supposed to be a bed on the bottom that can be pulled out. Then my Mom decided to stop hiring live-in maids, so we removed the bottomost bed and put in storage boxes. It's mostly my winter clothes, but there is a fair amount of crap too, haha.
edit
For some reason the Livejournal "search this journal" function isn't working and I couldn't search my old post about my bookshelf. But I found the photo itself on Flickr, so here it is:
