Movies on random
Tuesday, 7 May 2013 18:09My friend told me there was an upcoming movie that she wanted to watch, about is a part 2 of some exorcism and whatnot movie.
I remembered another friend had lent me a VCD of "The Exorcist" (some 10 or so years ago?), and so I just said "oh sure, I'll watch it as preparation to watch the new one."
Yet another friend on Facebook, seeing that I was going to watch this "The Exorcist", commented "it is really scary!" so, I pressed the play button with some trepedition.
You know, I laughed the whole way. That was more a comedy than a horror movie.
I contacted the first friend and then she said, "er... you watched the wrong movie".
Apparently she was talking about The Last Exorcism.
I'm a bit wary and don't want to watch it, because I saw on the trailer that a poor little kitty is a victim.
Once again, I can watch whatever horrible things done to humans, but make the victim a cat or a dog and I can't watch it anymore.
Over the weekend I also watched the movie Trance. It was pretty good. Like Inception, it just makes your brain run wild in trying to make out what just happened. It was cool, in a way, and the ending also amused me (again, it was like Inception) that we are still kept to guess what will happen next (open-ended endings?)
Well, at least, someone good movie-wise happened :)
