Crazy rain

elusivekApparently having got those 2 or 3 days of sunshine no rain reprise, we got stormed in the day before yesterday.
I guess we're lucky Macau is a peninsula. Or else, Macau would have sunk.
I guess the only places that weren't flooded were the mid-hill levels. My home area being one of them. Lucky. But I still had an awful time getting home. I practically had to remove my shoes and walk in my socks from the car park to home. And well, the flood water, you don't really know where the water came. It could be the rain water, it could be drainage water rushing back up. So there. Yuck.
Yesterday was a cloudy day, lucky no rain. But this morning I felt a few droplets as I walked the dogs, and I just received a "Thunderstorm warning issued" message on my phone. It's going to be ugly. Glad to be indoors. Hope the rain is over by the time I get off work. And please no flooding! Although my workplace is not an area susceptible to floods, but it's still a low-area and due to all the construction going around the whole of Macau (we have a city-wide Light Rail construction going on), drainage is at its worst. That's why we had that super-flood the day before yesterday. Lovely.
So. Yeah. I'll be here again tomorrow with more interesting stuff... heeheehee!
