Sorry for spamming

It may look like I've read a lot of books in one week, but in truth, it's just that I noticed I haven't posted a couple of my reviews, so I have been posting them back. Sorry about that.
Nothing much to report on. We had a typhoon over the weekend. Everyone was betting that we'd get a day off today because we could have gotten a typhoon #8, but now everybody's cussing at the Meteorological services for NOT putting a #8.
Grow up people, if the wind speed doesn't reach the #8 category, then it's not a #8 typhoon. Besides, shouldn't we be all happy that there was no typhoon at all? A typhoon can cause a lot of damage.
On a happier note, I'm brainstorming on possible solo holiday destinations. Any suggestions? I am thinking of Taipei but I've been there for a couple of times. I am thinking of going to Tokyo/Osaka to see if I can visit Tokyo Disneyland in its 30th Anniversary year (same age as me!) but while Tokyo and Osaka/Kyoto are good solo destinations, Disneyland is not.
I'm contemplating my next book: should it be more Pratchett? I don't want to go crazy with Discworld logic in my head so I think I'll give it a pass... I did just bought Stephen King's The Shining... I wanted to watch the movie so much, I bought the book first. hm....
The Shining it is!
