Dogs are not well

Gah, two of my dogs are not well.

So we find out Menina, with her beautiful blood work, actually has a spinal problem. Not sure if the term is spinal hernia or something... Just there is some growth in between her spine bones/blocks. We're getting it treated and with some pain killers and brain confounder she seems to be well enough.

Next is this bloody mutant of a fat dog. He tried to squeeze his way from the backseat of the car to the front, and now has a displaced knee cap. Vet says he needs surgery. I am not going to go into details of what needs to be done here, because when the vet showed me in computer-generated images, I had to sit down, and eventually blacked out. Geez. Third time in my life I blacked out.

Surgery is going to cost a fortune (more than my one-month salary) but ohwell, any dog that passes through our door is a family dog and will get the best care possible. So I'm going to have to just suck it all up.

I'm still shaky and so I hope my boss isn't too pushy today. Fingers crossed!

Ah, crap. :(
If you were in Germany I´d suugest you´d see a physio therapist for a second idea on the kneecap but I don´t know if there are many dog - physiotherapists in Macau. :(
