And the weekend's over again...

The weekend has been interesting. I made another 30% of the current book I'm reading... it's starting to get boring... there is no storyline, just, well, just snippets of people's life... no movement, no buildup, no climax... baaaahhh....

I went for my facial and after that did some shopping. I needed to get shoes and shoes I did get, 2 new pairs of walkable, party-able, work-presentable, weekend-possible shoes. I like high heel shoes. I hate stilettos and pumps. So the new high heels I got had like a log for heels. Very comfy to walk in.

After all that, I passed by an Esprit Outlet and also managed to score some new wears. Totally not my style, but I should try to branch out from my usual jeans and tees once in a while.

Also got a manicure. I went for a shimmery pink - it's Spring, I'm allowed to do something not me, I guess, haha.

Today we had our obligatory family lunch... I'm starting to dread those... I'm forced to stuff myself with too much food and then I get all lethargic in the afternoon and just skip dinner... exactly what is happening right now.

Anyway, I got a brain freeze from all that reading and am now sitting here wondering what to do. I'm not going to read anymore tonight, I played on the piano twice today.... an hour each... My new obsession is Bach's Minuet in D... I need another hobby I guess...

I've sort of cut down my photo-taking, or I should say Instagramming hobby... I have not many photos to share on this weekend...





Just me in my new outfit. Dress and cardigan are new. Shoes are old. Thinking how else to experiment with the other new pieces I got...

Better not bore you all with my boredom... Maybe I'll play... Gardenscapes! Look for stuff in a messy room!
