The horrifying (mini?) grand piano

Just posting a weird looking piano at the hotel lobby.

Personally I thought it looked terrible... Then I tried playing on it, it felt and sounded even more terrible. Keys were hard and stiff and the sound it made was really piercing.

Still it was an interesting piece of, ugh, art, in the middle of the lobby lounge.

Talking about the lobby lounge, it cost me RMB ¥83 for 2 cups of espresso (which the barista watered down... So it was a long black?)... Ah, coffee in Europe is so much cheaper!

All that teasing aside, the staff in this hotel are pretty good. They can speak English pretty well. I guess it's also because it's an international chain? Dorsett International Chengdu.
