Survived the week!
Sunday, 13 July 2014 22:52Without the parents :D
It's really not that bad. More quiet, nobody bothering me in the middle of the night, so, yeah, not bad at all.
So... I went and enrolled in a Portuguese language institution last week. I'll have to go do my placement test tomorrow, and then on Tuesday is the interview. I wonder where I'll end up.

I've been trying to eat healthy - while it's pretty viable at work (we have restaurants!), at home, I'm a bit more lazy with the cooking. But I did tossed a random salad and the butternut squash soup was great! (OK, the butternut squash soup was a canned soup)

Dad also placed me in charge of his gardening, so, I'm trying to get some gardening done. Papayas, a mystery fruit, and some Okras/Lady Fingers... I doubt we can make a meal out of the harvest, if it every harvests, but it has got me hooked. I'd like to start a mini project of those vertical planting ecosystem thingy that self-sustains and whatnot... ah... but I probably won't have the patience to get it done....

And we've been having nice blue skies and white clouds. Here's me waving at ya ;-)
The new hot topic in town is the soaring prices of property - both housing and car park prices. Some dude actually made some calculations and declared it's still cheaper to park illegally and get a penalty ticket every single day for 32 years and still it comes out cheaper than buying a g*d-damned carpark in town now. Wow. That is mind-blowing. How sh*te is that?
For me, I guess I'm lucky I get my mom's. If one day the car park is gone, I don't know what I'd do. Switch to a scooter maybe, but even so, scooter parks are also hard to come by... ah... better don't change jobs and stay where I am coz I can walk to work...
