Going strong...?

Reached half mark... I can feel my interest in the whole damn thing waning by now. The writing itself isn't bad, my muse has just decided to go dilly-dally elsewhere.

And I can totally relate to what some authors say "the character just wrote him/herself". I didn't really have a concrete plan of what would happen, but there are certain characters just don't seem to stick to the way I imagined. They really have a life of their own.

That was fun.

Work has been ok. Boss continues to be annoying. I try to do my job well but maybe I'm really not cut out for that type of job. Le sigh. Well at least I get to tell him that I'm going to have lunch with my mom tomorrow so I'll take a little longer for lunch. He shouldn't complain as I've been clocking crazy overtimes and skipping lunch in the past few days again.

I'm thinking of taking some time off... just to unwind... but which day... ai... question, question, question.

Good luck with the second half. I don't even have 10k yet! I like my novel, but just don't have the time/energy to write outside of the designated write-in meetups.

I definitely know how you feel about the characters!
