elusivek | ADIML: Wednesday 9 December

So after posting this I find out the first (I think) ADIML comm is dead. But anyway, it was fun doing that.

This is my first "A Day In My Life" entry even though I've actually followed the community

adayinmylife for quite some time. I saw an entry by

speaksoftlylove and thought I could spice up a day and see if it's fun or not :-) I'm first posting on my LJ to make sure everything is coded properly before I post this to the community.

Kat~~herina~~, regular office worker, living in Macau, working at a casino. This is my 9th December 2015 (Wednesday). Should have around 70 photos.

My day started early, at 6.00am.

But I didn't really wake up until 6.45am, because my sister wakes up at 6 and she hoards the bathroom until then.

So I wake up very reluctantly.

Because, why can the dog sleep on when I have to wake up?

First things first: medicine I have to take on an empty stomach. Viatril for my joints and Bronco-Vaxom for whatever. (My mom says this Bronco-Vaxom can be taken in place of flu shots)

Next thing is open the varandah/balcony door, check out the weather, and look! When did the cat go out?

I fix the bed so that is it presentable for the rest of the day.

I get the dogs ready so that they can go out!

The dogs get walked out in the grass-field place. One of the "street gang" (strays from the area) come out to say hello, despite the rain!

Back home, the dogs get fed.

While I'm getting changed to get to work, this little queen asked to get on the bed.

So I'm not those Youtube stylist pros or whatever, but I do think that I do an OK job to make myself presentable for work. From the mugshot to the selfie? I need to research how loose powder is used.

Simple sandwich bun breakfast with a vitamin C drink.

Grab my staff card, do a final check of my full attire, and off to work!

Get my iTunes going and walk to work!

So I make my way to work...

Walk past the Saint Lawrence's Church

Digress point: Yes, mosaic floors are very nice. But when it's wet or raining like today, it is a life hazard. I've slipped various times on this.

Why yes, we do have a scooter problem here.

I walk past the backside of the ex-Court building, which is a heritage site (I think)

Down along the famous SanMaLo (Avenida Almeida Ribeiro)

Past "The Clock That Lies" (never once have I seen this clock with the correct time)

I work in that gold building. It's a casino. I'm not going to post a lot of about my actual work as, you know, confidentiality and stuff and no photography in a casino. But I thought this angle was cool as the brand new shiney building is being surrounded by old almost falling apart dark buildings XD

And I'm at work... so there might be a big time skip from here.

So I make sure my 1L bottle is filled up with water to drink. I aim to drink 2 bottles of it at work a day. And my trusty Sailor Jupiter pen that is already broken and needing an elastic band to keep it together.

I get the papers out for the boss, the headlines made me laugh today. I fed the copy machine, and I worked with the binder machine today.

LUNCH break! So I check on the app to see if it's raining out. Yes, I see umbrellas. It's raining!

I walk past the Cathedral...

... and end up at the nearby bar because it's just opposite the post office... i have to go there

My lunch consistted of a Leek Soup, a Seafood in whatever Sauce and Rice, and it came with a chocolate cake. The cake itself was good enough, they put too much syrup in.

I play a bit on my phone as I have my lunch. This game uses existing fairy tales characters and build up to some other story. The little red sprite on the far left is Red Riding Hood. She swings her scythe to kill monsters... hahaha...

After I've eaten, I make my way slowly down to the Post Office. You know, it's raining and the mosaic floor is slippery. This is the second time I'm saying this.

There was a queue. I'm amazed.

Onwards back to work!

I unpack the stuff I got from the Post Office. Yay, more Nanoblocs!

Then a meeting got cancelled and I had some free time. I called up the eye doctor and they had a spot open, so out I went again.

Took me forever to find the doctor's office floor...

So the verdict is... my eyes are super healthy, and a got new prescriptions for my glasses... but it's almost negligable... I'm still thinking if I should adjust my glasses.
