1. Do you consider yourself young, old or middle aged?
Nobody would think oneself old. There is only one answer here - we are all young! Always!

2. When you think of your parents at your current age, did you consider them older than dirt?
See above!

3. What were you really into when you were a kid?
Books. It was always books. In Primary school, we were not allowed into the library until Primary 4. I remember feeling so proud of being given that one library card! Mr. Donald was the librarian and he was a very nice grandpa type man, teaching all newbies how to borrow a book and reminding us the return-by date.

4. Who was your best friend in elementary school?
I don't remember the exact years, but in the very beginning, it was a girl called Mirandolina. Who eventually turned out into a bully and when she failed a year, we didn't keep in touch anymore. Then was another girl Cecilia, the something is wrong with her mind woman. In the later years it was Carol, with whom we're still very good friends with.

5. What do you bring with you everywhere you go?
Avoiding the obvious answers of "home keys" and "wallet" and "tissues", I have to say it's my Kindle. (I was tempted to say my phone, but I thought that would be considered foul).

Great answers! It would be nice if no one considered themselves old, but some people do. It's a little sad.

Sounds like you are best without those ex-friends.

Thanks for answering!

Indeed, the crazy one (Cecilia) also came by my workplace one time and yelled at my face "You are the most disgusting person in my life ever!" and then just walked away. I was stunned, then laughed for a good minute after she had left. Who does that at this age? Come on....

You just have to wonder about people at times.

Then in Secondary there were 2 only, and eventually now it's more balanced, I heard.

Do you prefer your Kindle or paper books?

I like paper books as each book has its own design and such... the physical weight of the book, the ability to touch the pages and the smell of books... I really like paper books.

But at the same time, having the Kindle is also very convenient, it's lightweight so when you travel or when I use a small bag, it fits, and it doesn't take a lot of space on the table if I'm having lunch alone and having a read...

And having to store paper books... my shelves are full, I refuse to throw out or give away any of my books.... *sigh*.... but I love shopping for books too....

I agree. I much prefer paper books, but mu Kindle is so handy - and compact!
