Fry fry Friday Five ♫
Friday, 18 March 2016 23:111. Do you consider yourself young, old or middle aged?
Nobody would think oneself old. There is only one answer here - we are all young! Always!
2. When you think of your parents at your current age, did you consider them older than dirt?
See above!
3. What were you really into when you were a kid?
Books. It was always books. In Primary school, we were not allowed into the library until Primary 4. I remember feeling so proud of being given that one library card! Mr. Donald was the librarian and he was a very nice grandpa type man, teaching all newbies how to borrow a book and reminding us the return-by date.
4. Who was your best friend in elementary school?
I don't remember the exact years, but in the very beginning, it was a girl called Mirandolina. Who eventually turned out into a bully and when she failed a year, we didn't keep in touch anymore. Then was another girl Cecilia, the something is wrong with her mind woman. In the later years it was Carol, with whom we're still very good friends with.
5. What do you bring with you everywhere you go?
Avoiding the obvious answers of "home keys" and "wallet" and "tissues", I have to say it's my Kindle. (I was tempted to say my phone, but I thought that would be considered foul).

Date: 2016-03-20 12:52 (UTC)But at the same time, having the Kindle is also very convenient, it's lightweight so when you travel or when I use a small bag, it fits, and it doesn't take a lot of space on the table if I'm having lunch alone and having a read...
And having to store paper books... my shelves are full, I refuse to throw out or give away any of my books.... *sigh*.... but I love shopping for books too....
