1. Can you remember the first book you read?
I don't remember the first book I ever read (it's one of those Readers Books), I don't remember the first book I borrowed from the library (it's either the Narnia book or one of the Three Investigators Mysteries books), but I remember the first book I ever bought with my own money - Black Beauty by Anna Sewell.
2. What was the last book (electronic or otherwise) you read?
I'm currently reading A City of Ghosts and it's annoying me to no end.
3. Do you read for enjoyment, work or both?
Mostly for enjoyment, I read for work when I have to.
4. What is your favorite genre of book to read?
I always thought I liked fantasy, sci-fi or mystery/detective genre but a few times I read memoirs or non-fiction and I liked those too!
5. If you could visit your younger self, what book would you tell yourself to steer clear of?
hm.... There are books I don't like, but I don't think I should warn my past self to avoid any books - I should be allowed to learn and experience books that I enjoy and dislike as well - I should only form an opinion after I've read it. So no, I will not tell my past self to steer clear of any book, despite my hatred for Wuthering Heights, Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the flies, etc......

Date: 2016-05-21 05:46 (UTC)Hey, Mister, if you didn't meddle in the first place, as anyway it was NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS to start with, then you'd been safe and nothing bad would have happened to you.
But then again, if he didn't do that, there would be no story to tell. So maybe I shouldn't complain.
