What's in my bag
Monday, 20 June 2016 03:48So... I got this new bag... and I've had to really, and I mean REALLY downsize and be selective on what I put in my bag.
As I said in my first What's in my bag back in December, I'm not a small bag person. I like to have stuff to carry around with me. So with this new bag, it's like a real radical change.
1 - The actual bag
2 - Home keys in a doggie shaped key holder/bag/pouch thing
3 - Business card holder that can double as a mirror
4 - Tissues!
5 - Bus card holder (Suica or Oyster holder sort of thing, for easy travel/payment)
6 - Pen
7 - Lightly colored lip balm
8 - Medicine case
9 - Pad
There's no purse/wallet because it is outside of the bag. It's the design of the bag - the wallet part is detachable (that's the zipped part).
It not only buttons together, the buckles also hold the bag and the wallet together. I concede it could potentially be dangerous, but I'm usually pretty careful with my bags (big or otherwise) so I believe it should be ok.
Despite my not being used to such super small bags, I'm slowly warming up to this design. It's very easy to make payments as I don't need to look for the wallet. Despite this being a sling bag, I also hold onto the bag so I don't think the zip/ease of theft is too high on my part. As long as I'm always careful! Which I usually am. I'm more worried of the sling breaking one day, but since this is new, it should have quite a while to go.

Date: 2016-06-20 15:29 (UTC)then i started thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have a small little bag for when traveling - to keep only money, passports and tissues and a pen. That brand was doing a sale, I liked the color, so I got it.
funny thing is, the more i use this bag, the more i get used to it, the more I think I couldn't go back to a big bag. I'll have to see further on how it all turns out to be!
