1. Have you ever done something awful to your hair? What happened?
I don't think I've ever done anything stupid with my hair. I used to have it long (something my mom says is "what all girls should have"), and at one point in time I had it permed, and it was always ok.

2. Conversely, at what time in your life have you looked your best?
I'd say now. I now have my hair short (pixie cut) and it suits me so much better. My hair is so thin and fine, and I don't have much hair to start with, so with it long and with the weight bogging it down, my head was always like, flat. Now with my hair short it's much better.

3. Do you have a favorite article of clothing? Tell us what and why.
Actually I do. It's a one piece white dress with a black circle pattern, I don't know what that type of pattern is called. I bought that at Desigual, and have only worn it 3 times in the 3 years I had it. It's a bit too chic/classy/elegant for everyday wear so I can only wear that when something special is going on.

4. Confess the worst fashion trend you ever succumbed to.
Fact is, I don't care about fashion trends. I don't think there's any one time I did anything fashion related for the sake of following the fashion. Though I have to say that perm I got in one point of my life was bad decision making as that gave me a lot more work in maintenance and getting ready in the morning.

5. Are there any clothing / fashion trends today that you simply don't understand?
If I see another youngster wear a pair of glasses that DOESN'T HAVE GLASSES (i.e., just the frames), I'd really like to poke their eyes. I have never understood the reason nor the point of doing that. If you don't need glasses, fine, wear a pair of glasses with un-graduated lense, just don't wear something without the bloody lense. (I can't really say why that peeves me out but it does)

it is a thing and I really want to poke at their eyes if i see anyone with them.

(I once saw a friend with that, and I was being polite and not mentioning it but deep in my heart i just wanted to go fling those frames away)

Im the same... I do not follow fashion trends. Granted where I stay is cold and wet, so whatever I wear there will be sweaters and waterproofs on top anyways :(

Coming from a time of when you would be teased unmercifully because of glasses, I don't get the attraction.

i hate the fake glasses thing too. i think it's because i endured a lot of teasing about mine when i was a kid, and now the type of people who probably would have made fun of me are wearing them. grrr.

sorry to hear about the teasing. it's so annoying that people do that and then turn around and use glasses to make a fashion statement. a friend/colleague once wore one to work and i spent the day obsessing over whether I should poke her eyes or fling the frames way or just scream at her.....

Gosh I remember perms! That was def a bad decision the first time around since my hair turned out more like a tight poodle hair. The second time, the perm-ers said that they would use the biggest rollers, which was a bit better but not by much.

The glasses take me back to fifth grade when there was a girl (daughter of a teacher) who really wanted glasses so bad that she faked her eye test a bit just so she could look smarter. Had headaches until she admitted the truth and her parents went back to doctor and had the lenses replaced with plain glass.
