Miss Peregrine Movie

Right! Just came home from that. I'm pleasantly happy by the movie - it kept the general plot as the book, but it had its own twist. The coupling was different, the character ages had some changes, the "annoying" character was another one. I'm not sure if the movie closed with reference to the book (I didn't read book 3 yet, but my bet is its different).
However, I'm a little sad that it's not up to par to what I would expect from a Tim Burton movie. Some of the acting's abysmal, and the animated parts felt pretty cheap. Some scenes didn't match/connect to each other. Other than that, it was a pretty good watch.
And of course my friend and I laughed our arses off at the split second cameo LOL.
