Gearing up for work
Wednesday, 12 October 2016 09:38So today will be my last day of "freedom" (my boss coming back tomorrow).
I've almost cleared all the backlog on my desk and emails, so hopefully I have an iota of free time in my hands and I can sort some photos.
When I get home I really don't feel like doing anything as my room is so cluttered. And it's not because I'm a pack rat. I cleat out stuff regularly and it has come to a point where I can't downsize anymore.
I refuse to "clear out" my stuff from as recent as 2 months ago when my sister has stuff from 20 years ago taking up space in my room. But alas she's not budging too so it's all moot.
Anyway, once the photos are sorted I will have to seriously start working on the Germany trip. I need to book the major train tickets as those can go up to 70-100euros if I book too last minute.
The weather has cooled down nicely and I hope it stays like that for a while longer. My dad said in Styria (Austria) it's snowing, and when I told my friends that, they were like "your dad's hometown would look very nice in snow!" And I was all like "as long as it is snowing where I'm not then it is very beautiful, yes".... I like cold, but snow is too troublesome. Yes it's fun and all but when snow melts...................
I've turned into some old unfriendly no fun old grandma, haven't I? Haha

Date: 2016-10-12 10:58 (UTC)Hey, I live with a pack rat husband, so I know your pain.
Hey, hating the snow doesn't make you old. I remember dreaming about living somewhere that it didn't snow ever as a kid. Like you, don't mind the cold, but stay away, snow!
