So the 7-April Friday Five is missing, so it's missing.
1) What family traditions did your family have, while you were growing up?
In my Macau side family, there's the "Obligatory Sunday Lunch". In my Austrian side of the family, it's the "Yearly Summer Barbecue at Onkel Peter's". The Sunday Lunch is still going on, and the Summer Barbecue too but only when some of us from Macau have flown over to Austria (though usually, it's just when Dad's there. When I visited a couple years back some of my cousins and one uncle didn't even bother to stay in town to see me.
2) What new traditions have you established since becoming an adult?
I don't think we have any "new" traditions being established.... Well, maybe the birthday lunches (the birthday person invites the family for an expensive lunch, usually a buffet) wherein now there's this new habit of "combining" 2 birthdays together. Like, every January, it's Me and Cousin Miguel who oay the "January birthday lunch" instead of having 2 separate birthday lunches.
3) What tradition is most important to you in your current life?
There's really not much of a tradition, more like a habit I guess. Christmas at my place? Important because it's a lot of work to do and Mom wants to "make it presentable" for everyone.
4) What traditions do you have for the current season (spring or fall, depending on where you live)?
Nah... continuation of the Obligatory Sunday Lunches....
5) What traditions would you like to establish in the future?
None really, I guess we're cool this way.... I suppose....
