Work hard, play harder
Saturday, 16 September 2017 12:18This is crazy. Just 2 weeks ago my friends were just talking about making a quick trip to Seoul. Very soon, in less than 2 days, we actually secured our flights and hotels (at a bargain price too!). So we had a trip secured. 2-December to 6-December. I'll be the first to admit, I know nothing about Seoul. I have no particular interest in Korea, north or south, I don't really care for the culture or history. I don't mean it in a bad way, I just mean, as a country, that has never interested me. But it was still a country that I haven't been to, so when they said Seoul, I agreed.
But I have no idea what there's to see in Seoul. 24-hours shopping? Not my cup of tea. Make up heaven? I have already found a brand and line that I actually like (which is, Korean by the way), so there'll be no need to go hunting.
Anyway, I shall rely on my friends on things to do in Seoul. I'll pitch in and look for some small things as well.
The PLAY HARDER part of this post is... just last night, we were merely talking about how 8-December being a public holiday (not for me though) so why not do a weekend in Taichung, Taiwan.
This time, in less than 30 minutes, we have decided another trip 8-December to 10-December. We know already there wouldn't be enough time to go the scenic outskirts nature trail, and so we are going to research and see what can be done in the short time we are there. One of my friends, R, did find a Harry Potter themed tea house though.
And the 7-December that sits just between? It's a Thursday, I have a regular meeting, it's work day and I will go to work, and 8-December is another holiday again. Yippie!
