elusivek1) Who made you feel good this week, and how?
I’ve been so scatter brained last week (and this week, and all weeks) I don’t remember what happened last week...?
I watched a YouTube video of some guy showing results of his transgender process and i was actually happy for the guy (whoever she is) because she was happy with it and all that. And her makeup was gorgeous.
2) What did you do this week that moved you closer to reaching your goals?
On running, I know and I understand that I shouldn’t just rely on the numbers of my watch (or whatever tracker) for feedback, but last week I actually completed the 3 scheduled runs on my list, and I also threw in an extra run. I don’t have a real defined goal in terms of running (it’s somewhere along joining a race/mini/half marathon thing) and right now I’m still easing myself into the habit (it’s been almost 8 months, and I’m still “trying to ease that into my habits”), so actually completing the scheduled runs was a pretty big deal to me.
3) What did you most enjoy doing this week?
I’ve kept myself busy. Between running, journaling, and working on a piece of translation (side job), last week was pretty fulfilling.
4) What did you learn this week?
I learnt that I’m too naive and trusting for my own good. Nothing really bad happened, but in some conversations with different people, I came to the realisation that I’m a tad too trusting of everybody. I should back off a bit.
5) What’s the funniest thing that happened to you this week?
Nothing particularly funny happened... well... there was Saturday night, when I went with some friends for dinner at Aji (new Peruvian-Japanese restaurant in town) and amongst the conversation we had really big outbursts of laughter, that I remember. But I do not recall what it was that was so funny. No, we didn’t have any alcohol so I wasn’t out of it. It was just something silly and inconsequential that I didn’t bother to rembemver what it was about.
