Quick travel plans

elusivekThe coming Friday is a public holiday. As I had newly found out about a Van Gogh thing going on in Gongbei China (Not to be confused with the Van Gogh thing going on in Hong Kong) I really wanted to go see that. But I asked that on a chat group with 3 friends, and one of them couldn’t go on Friday as she had plans to go visit extended family over the long weekend. I had thought maybe then we can go ahead with the remaining friends, but apparently since I asked that on that group, they expect that we’ll wait till all can go. Meh.
So then I talked wit another friend individually and now we have plans to go on a short getaway trip to Guilin, China. We’re going to try and catch the tail end of the China version of the Japanese Sakura blossom viewing. Let’s see if we can see that.
There was another tour going to a crazy glass bridge thing that’s high up on a mountain. I’ve seen videos on Facebook and I’d really like to do that, but my friend is pants when it comes to heights and such so I thought, let’s stick with things nearer the ground.
I had a throat infection which now turned out to e a sinus infection which now I think it’s turned back to a throat infection as my throat hurts today. Geez. So annoying.
