The Boss asked me to check out one particular office if people were working there or not. I figured, sure, any reason to get out of the apartment, LOL.

Full gear with face mask and my new knit poncho/cardigan from Disneyland! Granted it's too cutey and casual for work, but I was beyond caring. That Bulbasaur in my hand? Case for the Apple Airpods LOL. It's cute because it opens up from its mouth! Other designs just cut the head in two hahaha so I chose Bulbasaur :-)

Filed away the business cards I worked on over the past few days, searched my email folders for a particular topic that the boss asked for, got spooked that I got nothing, checked with other colleagues but they were not working, and finally yes, a colleague said she had something but then it seemed nobody followed up.... and was left hanging for 2 years... ooops. I know it's irresponsible to say that, but, not really my fault. Though the boss will grill me I'm sure. So it's just waiting till 20-February when everyone is back at work, then we can sort all the past emails together and get a timeline.

Then there was a meeting, so I just hung around for the meeting... COMPLETELY FORGETTING ABOUT THE OSCARS! Every year I tell myself I'd like to see once the Oscars live. This year with this Work From Home program, it should have been easy, but no, I had to decide to go back into the office LOL

And once again I didn't see the Oscars. I'm also too lazy to search for the repeat. So. I failed again at my Oscars mission again.

Anyway, I'm sitting in bed with Netflix on... Netflix recommended The Pharmacist, so here I am watching that. Not bad. Interesting. But again, not my culture so I don't get it. But sad all the same. It's like you can't take a break from drug issues.

Time to sleep! Until next time!

Did the people you passed seem overly worried about infection or are the newspapers doing a lot of fearmongering? We've heard that Macau is practically shutdown and deserted.

Well, everyone going outside will have a face mask on (say 99%, there's always someone without a face mask or improperly put on) I don't think people are deathly afraid of anything, just a general "we need to be careful who we have interactions with". There's some panic buyings, especially of disinfectants and bleach. Some restaurants now only do take-out and don't let people dine-in. But people still go out.

Casinos are still closed and of course, tourists are scarce, but I still see some milling about, I think it's just an exaggeration. There are places that obviously look different now with no loitering people but otherwise, life goes on. It's not that bad.
