FREEDOM!!!

Well, I did sneak out on Monday to work because of a special mission the boss had for me, and over lunch, after ordering for take out, I opted for self-pickup rather than delivery. Tonight at midnight, casinos will be back in operation.

Then some people complained that if casinos can open, why not public parks and spaces? Tourists can go to casinos, residents need to go to the park! So just now, there was press conference and they announced parks will be open starting tomorrow too. The dogs can go to the dog parks again!

Nothing like a looming deadline to kick start my motivation, LOL! The past 2 days were spent catching up on one of my Coursera courses. 1 course down, 2 more to go. But, I was feeling so accomplished having completed that 1 course, that I signed up for another, so again I have 3 courses on my to-do list LOL. Anyway, the existing 2 courses are overdue and I am in no hurry to reactivate them. So I'll take the next 2 weekends to complete this new one first.

Well, my taking Coursera courses have nothing to do with my wanting to better myself. I'm just nosy and wanted to learn/read about inconsequential things. Check out my course list: 1. Magic in the Middle Ages, 2. Plagues, Witches, and War: The Worlds of Historical Fiction, 3. The Truth about Cats and Dogs. And I have already completed these: 1. Dog Emotion and Cognition, 2. Animal Behavior and Welfare. None of these will help me in my career path, but these would have been my choice of study were the internet more readily available in my time. No time for regrets, so I just take up a free course. With Coursera, I can pay to get a certificate, but since my end game isn't really to change fields, I can just take these for free. Yippee!

A papaya tree along our dog-walk route that broke and collapsed after a night of heavy winds. I'm more surprised that it survived the typhoon last year but lost to the winter chill.

My friend's bakery place had some new designs so I went to get some.

Congrats on gaining your freedom. They sort of put it into perspective for us. Here in the US we have had 25 - 35 million cases of influenza. We have had 67 cases of Corona virus. Be careful, wash your hands and breathe a bit more free.

Glad to hear you are safe and now free to walk where you want to. I hope that Corona virus is finally getting down.

That cherry tree is so cute!
