Sunday lazy day
Sunday, 15 March 2020 17:50I guess I'm getting the hang of a lazy Sunday pretty well.
I was lazing around in bed and suddenly had the thought of having a bed table, so I went on Taobao and bought this. It's ridiculously cheap, so fingers crossed it's coming in the correct size, or it's not just a spare part, or a total DIY assemble it yourself. I should be able to assemble it (IKEA style stuff) but I'll see. It should arrive in the next 2 days or so.
So Mom wanted to get something from a M&S, and after some thinking I suggested for us to have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory since it's relatively new, and we never really go out and try new places as a family. American diner style (I suppose), something we all forgot. Parents complained about the price (it's so expensive!) but there was a lot of stuff in there.
In the end, Mom got a something Pineapple Chicke nand Shrimp thing. Dad got Fish 'n Chips, I got a veggie burger, and Sis got a stuffed cheeseburger or whatnot. When the waitstaff asked if we were going to share, we just said no, and try to serve everything together at the same time. Then we waited.
Then Dad mentioned "we forgot this is American food." I was still confused. "Huh?"
And then the food arrived.
The portion size... We could have had a party.
My Veggie Burger. I'm forced to use a fork and knife for this as my mouth can't open that wide LOL. In the end, I just ate half of it and asked to pack the other half up. No photo of Sis' burger as it was a bit far away and I couldn't get the right angle to shoot.
Mom's chicken thing and Dad's fish and chips. Mom made Dad eat half of her chicken, so Dad just tried the fish (well, we all tried) and then packed the rest away.
We did that so that we can order a cheesecake! This being called the Cheesecake Factory, I thought we just had to try one. I wanted to get the red velvet, but Mom said to try the original.... okay....
Then it was back home, and waiting for the toilet guy to come up because our flush mechanism wasn't working well.
And then, this is how Frankie naps with us LOL
