teamLab ★ SuperNature @ Venetian Macau

So... my Sis, my cousin, and I, we were feeling a little bored and decided to give it a go at the teamLab ★ SuperNature that's being held in the Venetian Macau now. It's not fully opened yet, so there are some areas that are not available (to my knowledge: the Tea House). And it was slightly sucky because we went on a Sunday (there was a promo on cheaper tickets going in the morning), there were.... too many kids and families. When it's fully opened, I think I will go again but on a weekday.

That being said, this is a photo-heavy post, with a short video in the end. The pre-requisite, first-photo is a selfie LOL

Yep, no matter the angle or location, there were just too many people. At the location where the photo on the rightmost was taken, I was actually standing at a spot waiting for it to clear up, but then rude people just began coming and slipping in and I never got my corner :-(

There's one room where you can color a drawing (pre-set) and they will scan it in and your animal will show up in the room! I knew this already from the first mini teamLab thing in Macau a couple years back (it was space and UFOs that time), this time it was some animals like geckos and fishies

I guess the only nice usable selfies are of the down-up reflection ones... lucky I wasn't wearing a skirt, LOL

Or, you'll have to ask something to take photos over and over again, waiting for the best moment without other people getting into your frame...

In this shot, my Sis managed to get the effect that I wanted. Dark 2 sides, with my silhouette. The great pity is all those people in the second room after this corridor. The second photo she took didn't get the same effect anymore :-( but it's still nice!

My cousin kindly sent me this photo and I actually had a matching photo to put together, LOL

And finally a video! I managed to combine all the clips into one video. I'm not tech savvy so it was tough. I guess I need the iMovies app again. I used an app that needs to be subscribed after the trial period....

I guess it was a "to boost the economy or business" thing, so we got free tickets to either go to a kids play area, go on a fake gondola ride, or go up the fake Eiffel Tower (the Parisian Tower). So we went up the tower.

Actually, nothing much to see. The "Cotai Strip" isn't that exciting, it's still a major development area, so all you really see are maybe some man-made wetlands, and a lot of land that's under construction.

We were spying on the pools of the various hotel resorts (visible from the top of the fake Eiffel Tower) and we think this one at the Parisian would be the most fun one. It has slides and pirate ships and whatnot!

This is awesome, thanks so much for sharing the photos. I've always wanted to go to one of these things but been reluctant because I feel like all the people getting in the way of the art would annoy me (it's bad enough at regular old-fashioned museums). The photos are a neat way to live vicariously 😅
