Silly book issue!

LOL so my post the other day about going to the library and loaning The Devotion of Suspect X and thinking I might have watched something about it?

As I was reading I sort of recalled the movie I watched and the ending, how the detective explained it all and the sequence of events.

Then I just wanted to mark on Goodreads my progress, then found out.... I’ve already read the book in 2012 LOL, just a different version, so when I used the check out machine at the library it did not alert that I’d already loaned the book before, haha! So silly!

But perhaps I’ll just go on reading tomorrow because I’ve forgotten the exact details.

Do you often re-read books? I tend to re-read so many!

I normally don’t re-read books. I’ve only really re-read Black Beauty many times (because that was like my only book for a while) and Pride and Prejudice (because it was a school reading and I just read on as the class proceeds at a snail’s pace and then I have to hop back to where the class is at, etc)
Once I re-read Wuthering Heights to see if my newfound maturity would make my appreciation of the book different (it didn’t, still hated it)

Lol. That's how it was with my and Jane Eyre. I read it in high school and hated it. But so many of my friends swore by it, so I gave it another re-read and wanted to be compensated for my time because...what a waste.
