This time the LJ Friday Five updated first :-) Might have a second Friday Five post later (will that make it Friday Ten then?)
1) If you think your house is haunted, what should you do?
I don't know. I'm going to make an ongoing joke that, I know for a fact my apartment is not haunted, because according to Chinese beliefs, ghost are afraid of dogs, and it's best if you have 2 dogs, as (I don't know how but) somehow the "field" with 2 dogs makes ghosts deathly afraid............ and we have 4 dogs!
2) When should you investigate a strange noise in your basement?
We have no basement. Besides, if there are strange noises anywhere, the first culprit is the cat. And then the Frenchie. And it must be investigated!
3) How do you know if an abandoned building is safe to visit?
Guess what? You don't. What if the building collapses while you are in it?
4) How do you decide whether to solve a problem as a team, or split up and go it alone?
I'm kind of thinking is this going on the vein of horror movie cliches and Scooby-Doo investigations? You do not approach problems. There's actually a funny stand up comedy clip I saw on Facebook once (but I can't find it)... it must either be an Indian or a Singaporean guy... "If you think the place is haunted, you do not approach the place, you go away from the place!" LOL
5) Where do you store your knives and where would you look if one was missing?
Knives are in the kitchen. If any is missing from the knife rack (which is RARE), we go to the drying rack (if we hand-washed the dishes), or to the dishwasher (if we machine-washed). As to why it's rare for a knife to be missing from the knife rack, we have a chef at home, and he's always harping about "You do not leave a knife in the sink. You wash it, and you put it back on the knife rack!!!!"
Oh and I meant any of those cooking knives (Choppers, bread knives, carving knives, etc...) . Our cutlery knives are so old and dull, they are not dangerous at all. They are just in the cutlery drawer, with the spoons and forks.
