It got pretty cold last week (between 14-18 Celsius) so I wanted to get my fleece blanket out, but then I was thinking, I can get the inside of a duvet (or comforter. Whatever) from IKEA, since I'm using IKEA sheets anyway. So I went and got one. YouTube was helpful with showing an easy way to roll it into the sheets.

I've never had a duvet on my own bed all my life. Now... with a duvet inside the sheet, my bed feels like a hotel bed, LOL. It's so soft! Though, this week it warmed up again so that seemed like a bad idea again. Good news is, it's gonna chill down to the 10-12 Celsius next week!

I also managed to get all the Christmas presents. Today is 12-December, much like the 11-November (11.11) shopping day, today there is the 12.12 shopping day. Though I have no idea what they mean by 12. (11.11 was "singles day"). Now just to wait for them to arrive (thank god for online shopping). I'll go down to the stationary shop later to get wrapping paper and wrap up the stuff I have already.

I think I did pretty good this time. Generally within my budget. Just the aunts (and mom) got something a bit pricier. With the expenses I have nowadays (extra cat, medical bills, etc) I need to start watching my money.

I am so tempted to buy a moon lamp. And it floats and spins too! My friend bought it and it's so pretty! But I have no space to put it. I had wanted to put it on my window sill, but then the shelf ledge thing I bought from IKEA where I had planned to put all my plans on... was a tad too narrow to put my sphere terrarium. The the terrarium stays on that corner. Yeah I shouldn't shop for crap anyway. I just said that.

Mom did call the renovation guy and he promised to come yesterday to put up my framed puzzle and shelves, and fix the light in the living room. He came with his electric guy so they fixed the lamp. But he said his handyman was too busy so he didn't get my frame and shelves hung. Mom had also asked them to fix the kitchen floor, but his floor guy was also busy, so that didn't get done.

Mom said she will call him again if he doesn't come again before Christmas. So at least, I guess that will all be sorted out within this year.

I need to get new plant pot underliners because I miscalculated and the shelf I bought is a bit too narrow for the current underliners I have. The plant pots themself fit, I just need smaller underliners. I think had I bought the original shelf rack I saw, it would be all perfect, but then I saw another design that would match the wall hooks I have on the opposite wall, then I forgot all about measurement and capacity. Oops. And I will not go buy another shelf rack again ecause I have no wall to hang them... haha.
