Just another Thursday? Or not

elusivekAccording to the news from a day or 2 ago, our blood bank had low levels of blood type O+ in store.
I'm a O+, so, I went ahead and went to donate blood this morning. The nurse did say that they didn't like to do it that way, by putting it in the news, coz then they would get a sudden influx of people (like me) going to donate blood. Well, I'd love to regularly go donate blood, but, I'm prone to "needle faint" (針暈), so I don't make it a habit to regularly expose myself to my fainting triggers. I don't understand it either, but subjectively, I'm not afraid of needles. The sight of needles do not make me queasy. But I tend to faint after a needle is stuck in me, despite, again, subjectively, I can tell you that it doesn't hurt either. So there. Oh, and I did not faint this time.

As opposed to someone dropping part of their breakfast onto the ground (or they were feeding birds, or something)
