1) How is your year going so far?
Not bad, really tolerable.
2) Have you gotten vaccinated yet? If not, when do you think it's likely to happen?
I'm still not sure if in Macau it will be mandatory or not, and when they are going to roll that out. I suppose if it's for all citizens I will have to get it. I'm not into vaccinations, but I'm also not those hardcore anti-vaxers or whatever those are called. I simply don't like getting vaccinated because... I couldn't be bothered to go get on the line/queue and all that paperwork only.
3) Are you bored or are you busy these days?
Bored at work, but I am trying to grab more projects or refine my filing system for the boss.
4) Is this pandemic good or bad for your finances?
Not much difference in general expenditure, but rather great at minimizing my travel expenses because... I can't travel. I have a Hong Kong Dollar account that is used to receive some dividends (or whatever) from a fund product I have. Whenever I go traveling and I need foreign currency, I use money from this Hong Kong Dollar account to change money. Now that there's no traveling, this Hong Kong Dollar account has fattened up quite a bit.
5) What are you missing most these days?
Travel. My shopping isn't affected as shopping in person or online is still more or less the same, but since I can't go out overseas, I'm just... not seeing the world! I was supposed to travel to Russia last September, that's gone. We had far-off plans for 2021 to be Scandinavian tour, but that's gotta go as well. I'm not even going to think about traveling in 2022, just because, I don't want to get my hopes up and then get disappointed.
