(Not quite) Wordless Wednesday 3-February-2021

Just suddenly decided to try out a new manicure parlor for the Chinese New Year. I quite like this parlor, they don't sell packages (pay for 10 manicure and get 12!), so you are not forced to use them for the next 12 months. And the lady actually designs all her own nail designs.

Oh, and as a side note, today is Lichun (立春), so the year of the Ox officially starts TODAY. Next week on 12-February it's the actual Chinese New Year (or Lunar New Year). That's why, although I was born in 1983 (and there, I outed myself on my age LOL), which people will commonly regard it as the year of the Boar, my birthday was before the Lichun (Lichun was 4-February in 1983), so I'm actually still a Dog. LOL. Since most of my friends are still from the same year, they are all Boars. And I like to use the phrase 豬朋狗友 (pig and dog friends), which although has a rather negative connotation, but saying that with affection kind of negates the negativity and makes it mean really good friends or besties LOL. (Another Chinese person may not agree with me)
