I made it sound so serious, but it's not. The plant growth lights arrived! But the store forgot to send the rods to go with it, so I have one rod short for my office. Meh.

But, look at my wall!

Hm.... I need to see why that light on the right side is stooped so low. But... do you see it? Do YOU SEE IT????? Since we still can't travel anywhere at all, that means, no going to Japan! If you can't go to Japan... then you bring Japan home.

It arrived!

The mini Sakura Tree on a Moss Ball arrived! I need to take very good care of it! I hope it blooms in March/April!

The shop, however, did a very shoddy job of keeping their orders. On facebook, I saw that there were over 500 queries on this Moss Ball thing back in December. Assuming some people would think it too expensive and give up on it, I think they would still have at least 100 orders for it. When I went to the store, I said I ordered that, and placed a deposit. They checked a piece of paper, just 1 single piece of paper. How many lines can there be? 20? 30 tops? So only 30 people ordered? Of only phone numbers... nothing else? No client name, even "Facebook fake name" would work, but no. Just the phone number. No mention if they paid the deposit or not. No mention of the date they received the deposit on.

They had the audacity to tell me my phone number was not on their order list. I just showed them the Facebook message with them replying "OK Confirmed" and they begrudgingly gave me one. Duh. They need better admin skills. Hire me!

But I'm too excited to feel bothered by that. I also successfully contacted a Taobao store to custom make a transparent model display case, hopefully it comes in before the CNY holidays, then I have one more thing completed for my room.

Yes! The first task on this fine Saturday morning is to sort out the sphere terrarium I have, more indoor gardening!

I love the grow lights! I didn't realize sakura trees grew that way. How interesting. Do you have to plant it outside, or can you keep it going indoors for a while?

I first saw a Moss Ball plant last year, when my Sis went and got herself a mini (bonsai maybe?) maple tree on a Moss Ball. It seemed to grow well. In the end, she decided to pot up the whole thing. I’m told by the shop I can keep it in the Moss Ball format, as long as I take care to not let it dry out.

Here’s the video that the tag on the plant linked me to:

Perhaps it’s a new species or a genetically modified species, this is a mini Sakura Tree, I’d say not unlike Bonsai trees? It’s cute, and I hope I don’t kill it!
