Hello! This is Kat from Macau! I almost forgot about the scheduled Glimpse At My Day today so I missed a time stamp or too in the morning, but I suppose it's OK.

I woke up at 6am-ish. Usual walked the dogs, then came home. Then I remembered the Glimpse At My Day, so I present my first photo with Nutmeg, who came out to welcome the dogs back home.

And then it was to feed the dogs. Here we have Frankie sitting down and looking pretty :-)

After the dogs are fed, I tend to my plants. My Suehime (Japanese rose I guess?) (left) started to have these white spots on the leaves. I bought a spray that's supposed to kill that but so far it doesn't seem to be working. It's also turning yellow so I might need to dig it out to see if the soil is not draining and thus suffocating the roots. Better do it soon. My Japanese Flowering Quince (right) is also suddenly having a second wave of flowers blooming.

And my mini maple bonsai is also turning green. I wonder why. Not enough sun maybe? I may have to actually take it outside to get full blast of the sun.

Then it's breakfast and vitamins. Boring granola with walnut milk and a tumbler of water (one would think it's coffee because Starbucks... but i don't really like coffee LOL)

I make my way to work. On my way, I have to walk past the former Portuguese Government Palace. They've removed the Portuguese emblem and put the Chinese one on, but I don't think they actually use this building for office. The government office is now in a building behind this, I guess it's just a facade for show and photo-spot. It is a UNESCO Heritage site though, so there's that.

I also have to walk by this man-made lake. Such a sunny day! Why do I have to go to work?

It's now basically mandatory that any where you go you'll need to have a face mask. The photo on the right is the chandelier and mini fountain in my office building. I was walking so it's a bit blurred.

Another requirement is, wherever you go, you'll need to show your Health Code. I've blurred out the QR code and the personal details, but you need to have the green code (Entry permitted) to go anywhere now. You don't need to scan the code, it's just showing the green code to the security stationed at entrances and that's it. There's also a time limit so you will need to refresh the code. It basically just asks if you've been sick and if you've been traveling. And if the associating ID or passport hasn't been tagged in anything then it generates a green code. Some people get a yellow code, that means they have completed their medical observation but are still required to isolate themselves. You don't ever see a red code (I suppose) coz those people are IN medical observation or quarantine.

And then it's just a boring 9-hours or so of work so... I can't share my work here LOL! I do have a photo of lunch! I was still feeling a bit full, but I don't know from where. I did not snack in the morning, and my breakfast was pretty plain. Anyway, I asked for the avocado and quinoa salad and a glass of tea. I started reading a new book, Dead on Demand: Don't bury the hatchet, bury the body instead (A DCI Morton Crime Novel Book 1) by Sean Campbell. Not quite getting the swing of it, I guess I'm still early on in the book. I had the third book in the series sitting in my Kindle, so when I noticed it was the third of a series, I checked out the first book. It was free on the Kindle, so I just got it to have a read first.

We don't do rotational lunches, but I alway have the habit of getting out of the office at 12.30pm for lunch, instead of 1pm. I still just take my 1 hour for lunch and get back to the office within the hour. And this last half an hour is wonderful, because everyone is out of the office. Some quiet, finally. I'm seated outside with the other admins and they are a noisy bunch. I don't really mind, but if given a choice, I'd choose the quiet over the chatter. And maybe I need to straighten up the clutter just in front of my monitor haha!

Soon enough, it's time to go home. And what's the happiest thing about getting home? The Welcome Home Committee! I usually have 3 dogs and 1 cat hanging around, but today it seems only Sai-Lup was eager to see me *shrugs*. As you can see he's my big baby (huge desktop photo LOL)

I came home to see that my online shopping has arrived. I ordered a new-released CD (13-March release) and figured since i had to pay for shipping anyway I would order a couple other CDs as well, and they arrived today. KOKIA's live album Alive, Minori Chihara's Neo Fantasia, and Okui Masami's 11 -eleven-. It was a boring task of ripping? Burning? Transferring? Them into iTunes, finding the right album cover to paste on, and then syncing to my phone and my age old iPod Classic.

My Sis' cat Harley wasn't feeling well the past week, so when she got back, the first thing was to take the cat to the vet. Upon his return, he was mad and upset that he had to go to the vet and started sharpening his claws on his carrier bag, as if trying to destroy the thing, LOL

With the cat back, we had a quick dinner, then it was the dog's turns to go out. Why is it that today's photos are almost all of Sai-Lup? He's photogenic, so it's OK LOL. Oh right, I had a Frankie in the beginning somewhere.

Finally got home, fed the dogs dinner, and then I went outside to check out the roots of my Suehime plant. The roots were OK, no sign or root rot, so why is the plant yellowing out and seemingly dying? I need to keep checking it out the next few days.

Before I head into the shower, I write in my 5-year Techo journal. What I'm doing is getting a year's worth of prompts, then answering the same question for the same day every year. I will also convert the 5-year Techo in a way that it will have 10-years worth of entries. I'm just on my first year, so hopefully I can keep it going!

After that it's just shower, night routine and maybe read a book then lights off, so, no photos there. Oh yeah I've got new CDs to listen to too.

Toodaloo and hope you enjoyed my day :-)
