Oh, both Friday Fives are updated today, so this can all go in one post!

The first set of questions from [livejournal.com profile] thefridayfive

1) Do you like to drive?
Yeah. Relatively. I do like to drive. But I turn into a foul-mouthed sailor if the traffic is bad and especially if there are dumbass drivers around.

2) Do you own (or have regular use of) a car? What kind is it?
To set the records straight... I have the Toyota Echo Verso (also known as the Toyota Yaris Verso) in a dark grey. The car is MINE. I bought it 17 years ago! Granted, Mom paid for it first, then I painstakingly paid her back every month, sans interest (thank you Mom), then when I paid half of it off Mom said I didn't have to pay for the rest of it. The car is MINE! But now my Dad has hogged the car and I hardly ever drive my own car.

3) What is your favorite optional feature on a car?
It's how I can fold the back seats to go under the flooring, and then we have something like a space wagon to transport luggage or cargo.

4) How much does gasoline currently cost where you live?
A full tank would cost around MOP$400 (roughly USD$50) or so?

5) What is the longest car trip you have taken?
As a city the size of around 33sq.km (12 sq.mi), getting anywhere is just a 20-min drive away (barring traffic). So we don't get "car trips" here in Macau. I've already gone on coach trips in Europe and have sat anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours. Oh, I even went on an overnight coach trip in Japan, from Tokyo to Osaka.

And the following set of questions from F.riday5.com

1. Who are your three latest celebrity crushes?
I'm not big on celebrities, so I don't know what I'd say about crushes.

2. What three strange things have you done during the pandemic?
The pandemic hasn't really affected Macau much. Just yesterday we've recorded the 49th confirmed case since 2020 February. I haven't had to do anything "strange". I guess for those who are against face masks, then I've willingly put on a mask wherever I go. It's more forgetting about it sometimes than not wanting to put one on.

3. What three goals do you have for the weekend?
I'd like to walk around tomorrow (Saturday) and then I'm still undecided about the race on Sunday. Nevertheless, Nutmeg the cat will have to go the vet to get her first vaccine shots (finally cleared her ear mites issue)

4. What three things are you avoiding?
I don't think I'm avoiding anything either. Well, putting it that way, I'm definitely avoiding getting sick.

5. What three things are you feeling pretty good about?
I don't know. It does make my life sound so lame. I'm feeling good about myself. I'm feeling good about my job. I'm feeling good about the state of my finances (just did some accounting this morning, and all is good).

It's nice to see the pandemic hasn't affected your life very much. It's still a bit crazy here. Our numbers have been decent -- not as insane as in other states -- but uggggggh they're going up again and our new mayor is more concerned about business than public health. :(
