1. What’s your prescription for a case of Weekend Uncertainties?
I hardly have any Weekend Uncertainties... my days are pretty much... standard. Say like tomorrow, it's Saturday. Morning 8.30am I need to sit by my laptop or iPad to attempt to make a badminton court booking for the following week. Though, my friend said already she can't next week, so I've got tomorrow morning freed up. Should be free until noon to do whatever I want (usually a workout, yoga, puzzle, planting, or whatever). Noon is lunch with the parents. Afternoon free until 4-ish and the dogs or cats will need to see the vet for weekly or monthly shots. Night it's a game of badminton or a run. Similarly, Sunday morning is for laundry sorting, Obligatory Family Lunch, then free afternoon for whatever and free evening.
2. What’s your prescription for a persistent case of Restless Munchies Syndrome?
Drink water. If I feel like snacking, I'll first drink a full glass of water. Then wait for about 5 or 10 minutes. If I'm still feeling peckish then I'll find something to munch on. Usually the water solves my peckishness.
3. What’s your prescription for Streamer’s Indecision?
I'm assuming this one means not knowing what to stream on Youtube/Netflix? I have this problem on Netflix. I never know what to watch. But I'm pretty happy to let Youtube or Facebook Videos just play whatever they recommend.
4. What’s your prescription for a hypersensitive Get Off My Lawn reflex?
No lawn to get sensitive about LOL. Also, in trying to think of this question figuratively, I guess I've pretty much been desensitized about anything mine. Like, my car. It's my car. It's MY car. It's under my name. I did painstakingly pay for half of it. The other half was paid by Mom. Well, my Mom paid for the car, then I paid her back by installments (when I was earning peanuts) and when I paid half of it, Mom said I didn't need to pay any more and that it's like a gift to me. So yeah. My car. But, I hardly get to drive it anymore. My Dad monopolizes the car. My DAD! He even crashed it once, the mechanic had to replace the whole front part of the car. I mean, if it's my Mom who's monopolizing the car I would let it slide, coz... technically it's hers too (she did pay for half of it!) but, it's my DAD that's monopolizing the car. I used to get really irritated a few years ago, but now, I don't know. I've reached new heights in letting things go.
5. What’s your prescription for an inflamed FOMO?
I've been lucky enough that I have never been afflicted by any level of FOMO thoughts. Can you imagine how unhappy someone with FOMO would be? And how mentally taxing it would be? Constantly thinking about what others are doing... no. I'm so glad I'm not afflicted with that.
