Hm... thefridayfive hasn't updated this week yet, but since I missed last week's, here it is:

1. Do you have a yearly, or monthly, clothing budget? Do you stick to it?
Nah. I hardly shop for clothes. I have a bunch of T-shirts that can go with jeans or some casual/sporty skirts. Then I have some "cleaner-cut" shirts, tops, and skirts for work. I have 2 suits for whenever I need to look super business formal (which seems to be... never.... lately...) I also have lost the "want" to shop for clothes because... I have no space to put them!

2. Do you buy trendy clothes, or classic pieces that can be worn for years?
I do not follow fashion, I buy what I like, and no matter whether they are trendy or classic... I wear them for years LOL.

3. Is there a current fashion trend that you hate?
I am still annoyed by fake glasses. If you are wearing fake glasses, at least wear those with non-prescription lens. I hate seeing people with just glass frames... makes me really want to poke at their eyes.

4. Have you had clothing altered to fit you better?
Use to do that, usually shorten trousers. I'm on the heavy side and so need to buy larger sized trousers so it fits me on the waist, but then it's too long, so I need to shorten it a bit.
Nowawdays I don't care.

5. Is there a piece of clothing, or accessory, that you covet?
I'm still hunting for a nice-fitting trench coat.

1. November is National Peanut Butter Lovers Month. Are you a peanut butter lover? What are some ways you enjoy consuming it?
Is it? I'm okay with peanut butter. But the things I like or dislike come and go in phases. I can live for a year without peanut butter... but when I have a sudden craving for it then I MUST HAVE IT.

2. November is National Roasting Month. What did you most recently roast, and how did it come out?
I roasted my subordinate, does that count? LOL.
Look, the hotel property has 10 floors. Each floor has 82 rooms. Currently only around 4 floors in operation... how can she write a report that we had an occupancy of 1735 rooms? How? HOW????????????? Assuming all floors are in operation, then we would get only 820 rooms with 100% occupancy. Where did the remaining 915 rooms come from? I roasted her good.

3. November is National Gratitude Month, which of course leads to the American Thanksgiving holiday. What are you particularly grateful for this month?
It's interesting that while I was brought up knowing about Thanksgiving, we didn't celebrate that. I'm thankful for the patience of my colleagues and bosses.

4. November is National Inspirational Role Models month. Who are some of your inspirational role models?
Weirdly, my Boss is rather inspirational to me, and I strive to be like him in some areas. My friend-colleague is also someone I strive to be more alike.

5. November is National Family Stories Month. What’s an oft-told story in your family?
Hm...  My mom likes to talk about the time when she did her teachers' exam, they had to assist in a class. And she just copied what the teacher-in-charge did (corporal punishment was a thing back then, and the teacher-in-charge slapped a student, and Mom followed when a student misbehaved). Apparently she passed with flying colors. *shrugs* Nowadays you don't get away with this kind of treatment.

I have my own style which is varied. I like comfort that's not sloppy. Usually I am in my leggings and yoga tops anyways. I have short legs, so if I alter something it's the length or the waistline.
