Chilly again

It was all warm and stuffy and humid and SUMMER last week, and then it rained yesterday and today it's cold and chilly again.

Apparently it's true that summer doesn't truly arrive until May.

I got myself a new handbag. I was trying to put my stuff together to get into the bag and had an epiphany. I always have a very heavy handbag. My current handbag is pretty good, just lightweight enough, with everything I need... it's lightweight because I don't need a wallet for that bag, it has all the card slots IN the bag.

So with my new handbag, I have the problem again of an overly heavy bag... and I figured it was my wallet. I tried to Tetris-fit my needed worldly possessions into the bag, and it just barely fit. I have too much crap. But, hey! They are essentials! There's the wallet for all the cards (credit cards, bank cards, health cards, etc...) and a bit of cash. Kindle goes in. I need a power bank. I need a pen. A spare mask. Not to mention a pack of tissues... and while I'm at it, wet tissues too. EarPods, house keys, the Starbucks straw, shopping bag, and the mini umbrella.

On an absolutely unrelated note, Dad made stuffed kohlrabi for dinner tonight. It was OK, but I guess kohlrabi isn't exactly a common thing here. I don't even know what it's called in Chinese. Okay, I google translated it, I have no idea what it is LOL.

This is gonna be a conversation starter amongst my friends tomorrow. I'll take the chance and ask them what it's called in Chinese.

Weather is unpredictable here, too! Last week was high 70s, today we had snow, and Wednesday is supposed to get close to 90s! Your bag is very cute! I have the same issue with bags. I ended up just toting a backpack to and from work most days to fit all my needs.

People say women have a thing for shoes, but for me it’s bags LOL I need to keep that under control. I guess i just wanted to have a brand-something so I look more like an EA than a newbie intern. #firstworldproblems , I know

Oh I for sure did the same thing my first year working when I got my tax return!! I was like well this is money I didn't account for so let me spend it on my first expensive purse. It is still my only expensive purse, and I only bring it out for special occasions now haha

It’s more like a turnip? A round turnip (as opposed to long?)? I suppose it’s stuffed with pork and I don’t even know what type of white sauce he used. I only know it’s the type of sauce he uses with asparagus…. Hollandaise?
