elusivek1. Do you like other people buying you clothes?
I don't mind people buying me clothes or stuff, but fashion styles vary person by person. I'm lucky enough that in my life, only one person has ever consistently bought me clothes for Christmas and Birthdays and I hated every single piece of those items LOL. But I concede this person bought good quality stuff, and I do end up eventually wearing those items, when I thought the style fit the situation (though decided not my style).
2. Have you ever brought a present for someone that they hated/disliked?
I seem to have a knack of getting people stuff they need, so far I haven't received any comments or complaints, or, like me, they were all being polite. Do not look at the teeth of a gifted horse, or something along those lines.
3. What nicknames do you have/have had?
I have a distinct few nicknames, they are time-specific too. So my name is actually Katherina. Within the family, they call me Katy or Kati. In primary and secondary school, because my friends were 99% Chinese, they found my name too long and clumsy to read. Teachers read it the Portuguese way... My friendscouldn't say it properly, so they all called me Kata. In Uni, because some of my secondary school classmates came to the same Uni, so the nickname followed, but some started writing me as Kathe, basically, I assume, pronunciation is still the same. Once I started working though, people shortened my name to just Kat. Some foreigners would call me Katherine (is it so hard to pronounce the last "na" in my name?).
So, depending on how a person calls me, I can make an educated guess of when they've known me. People outside family cannot call me Kati or Katy. A friend tried that, and I just lost it and got so enraged. I don't even know why. They say this family nick name sounds weird anyway (read the Portuguese way, like "kaa-tee" instead of the English "Kei-tee), so that's good, they won't say it anymore.
This brings up a funny story. A couple months back, someone in the staff corridor saw me and recognized me, and she called me "oh hey, 'Katarina" (read in the Portuguese way), long time no see!". And I couldn't for the life of me place where I knew her from. She had a mask on, I couldn't recognize her (her, I had a mask on too, why could she recognize me?). She called me Katarina, so back in school? A school teacher? A school teacher that switched jobs to work in a casino? I'm not judging, but the local way of thought is, a casino (dealer) job is for something with no education but wanting to earn money and willing to work in shifts. Anyway, whatever the case, I don't know who that woman was.
4. Did you have any pretend or imaginary friends?
Nope.
5. Would you say you are a good or bad influence to others?
I've been told I'm a goody goody two shoes so I suppose I'm a good influence to others.
