1. What do you hope never changes in your life?
I don't have anything deep and substantial for this... I know and I accept that every good thing and every bad thing comes to an end eventually, so I haven't really thought about hoping to never change. Right this moment though? I hope the dogs stay healthy!

2. Where would you rather be from?
This is another tough one. It's not that I'm not proud of who I am, or am ashamed of my heritage... but being of mixed race in a region that's mixed race itself (but not of the same races as I'm mixed of) is being a little confusing. I'm not Chinese, but I know Chinese culture. I don't know enough to say that I'm completely Chinese, but I definitely know more about Chinese culture than I know of Portuguese and Austrian culture. I'd rather be from Portugal or Austria, because right now I'm like what in Chinese you say 兩頭唔到岸... it's an idiom describing the situation where one is stuck in the middle of nowhere in life, falling between two stools. That's exactly what I am. I am Portuguese, I know f*ck sh*t about Portuguese culture, history, and whatnot. I am Austrian, I know f*ck sh*t about Austrian culture, history, and heck I don't even speak the language. I know Hitler is actually Austrian not German, but that's not going to help me anywhere in life, not even random bonus points. I've lived in China all my life, but I don't really know enough or really in-depth about the true Chinese culture and mannerisms. I'm really just drifting.

3. What are you absolutely determined to do?
Just new in the news this morning, the city is in high alert again because of some people testing positive for Covid... the city is going on lockdown again.

4. What takes up too much of your time?
Work. Work takes up too much of my time! But then when I have all the free time in the world, I have nothing better to do than work anyway. This is so sad!

5. What is something you’ve had to unlearn?
I'm still trying to unlearn apologizing for everything even when the thing has got nothing to do with me.

1. Among stuff people have told you recently, what’s been most difficult to swallow?
I suppose I've been living an easy life? Nobody had any gripes with me and nobody has told me anything unsavoury so far. Mom's always with her "You should be a better person" because I've been using her old catchphrases back at her. When I was a kid, when looking for things and I asked Mom, she'd yell and say things rudely like "Open your eyes, what have you got eyes for? Open them!" I had lost a bit of patience the other day with her and used the exact same phrase. Also, when I was a kid I'd sometimes ask where I should put something, and she'd go raving mad and say "On my head! Where else? Go look for a place to put it!" and again recently she was annoying the sh*t out of me and when she asked where she should put a certain something that I told her not to buy but she bought anyway (then had the audacity to ask me where she should put it?) so I lost it and said "on my head! where else?". Anyway, she has been preaching to me now that I shouldn't look to the past, and that I should strive to be a better person in the future.

Heck. As if when she argues with Dad she doesn't dig up things from 40 years ago to argue with him. Then she says she's old she's going to die so it doesn't matter if she doesn't change to be a better person. Yeah right.

2. What swan thing from last week you’ll spend time reflecting on this week?
I'm trying to think what "swan" thing means in this sentence... and I can't decipher it LOL. But ignoring that swan thing... this week I will have to change my mindset and think like my boss... coz I'm helping him write something, so I have to make myself think like him in order to draft that thing.

3. What are you waiting your tern for?
Assuming tern is to mean turn here, I'm not waiting for anything just yet. At least, not in the meaning of "turns". I am now newly waiting for the lockdown mandate to be over, because I just found out my camera is dead and I'd like to be able to take it for repairing.

4. Who do you suspect is robin you blind?
I dunno. I really dunno. Sai Lup's physiotherapy is expensive, but they are like, the sole providor of animal physiotherapy, so I don't suppose I can make a comparison... so even if they are robbing me blind, I wouldn't know.

5. To what cause or effort are you planning to pigeon sometime soon?
Would pigeon be "pledge" in this sentence? I suppose I've already pledged my help to the animal rescues, as I volunteer for them (no confusion on the meaning of "pledge" LOL *cough*amandaheardanyone*cough*) and my calendar has reminded me there's another dog sponsorship fee I should pay. I suppose I'll about get it down after this.
